Job summary

Seaway Printing, based in De Pere, Wisconsin, is seeking a motivated Bindery Assistant for 1st shift (6 am–2 pm, Mon–Fri, with every other Saturday as needed). You will support stacking, packing, and preparing finished products for shipment in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Entry-level position with on-the-job training; prior printing experience is a plus. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and process discipline as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow Safety guidelines and standard work procedures.
• Able to stand for long periods and handle basic physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow Safety guidelines and must-be-certified tasks for each area.
• Perform quality checks and maintain standard work procedures.
• Complete planned maintenance tasks as scheduled and documented.
• Maintain organized work space and post performance measures.

Job Summary:

The Bindery Assistant is an entry-level position that works effectively as a team to create and deliver the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost for our customers through continuous improvement activities. The primary purpose of this role is stacking, packing, and preparing finished products for shipment.

Work Hours Available:

1st Shift - 6 am - 2 pm, Monday to Friday, including every other Saturday as needed

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Know, understand, and follow all Safety guidelines/practices.
• Become certified to perform all tasks relative to an area.
• Recognize normal vs. abnormal conditions and act accordingly.
• Perform all Quality tasks according to standard work procedures.
• Perform all assigned Planned Maintenance tasks according to schedule/instructions.
• Maintain workplace organization standards.
• Document and post-performance measures according to standards.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum Competencies:

• Manufacturing environment or prior printing experience preferred.
