Job summary

The Waldinger Corporation is seeking a qualified VDC Specialist to support the VDC Group, including Detailers, by developing BIM models and drawings for construction projects. You will oversee and guide the work of other team members as needed.

The role focuses on modeling for all trades, creation of shop and field drawings, field layout, and labor tracking to keep projects on schedule. A 3–5 year drafting/design background plus an Associate's Degree or Revit/CAD certification is required, with

3-5 years of drafting or design experience.
Associate's Degree or Revit/CAD certification.
No Travel.

Responsibilities

Modeling: assists with modeling efforts of all trades by coordinating and revising models as needed and creates precise 3D representations.
Shop and Field Drawings: creates templates for shop drawings and coordinates with the construction team.
Field Layout: uses the model to create point files for field layout and manages point renaming/renumbering.
Labor Tracking: maintains scheduling and time tracking for assigned workload.
