Job summary

Accelevation LLC in Miamisburg, OH is seeking a VDC Designer to develop, coordinate, and manage virtual design and construction models for mission-critical infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with engineering, construction, and project teams to create accurate digital representations using Revit, Forma, and Navisworks, improving constructability and delivery.

The role emphasizes BIM standards, model quality, and proactive coordination meetings.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Revit for BIM modeling and construction documentation.
Experience using Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection.
Experience with Autodesk Forma for design visualization and analysis.
Familiarity with Procore or similar construction project management platforms.
Strong coordination and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced project environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to model accuracy.

Responsibilities

Create, update, and manage 3D models using Revit and Autodesk Forma to support design, coordination, and construction activities.
Utilize Navisworks to perform clash detection, model coordination, project reviews, and constructability assessment.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely model integration across disciplines.
Maintain model quality, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
Utilize Procore and other project management platforms to manage project documentation and facilitate communication.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and improve constructability.
Participate in coordination meetings and present model updates, issues, and recommendations.
Support project teams with model-based planning, visualization, and collaboration efforts.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support project objectives and schedule requirements.
Assist in developing and maintaining BIM/VDC standards, workflows, and best practices.
