Job summary

Cummings Electrical is seeking a BIM/VDC Coordinator for the Dallas–Fort Worth, TX area. You will review 3D models from consultants and contractors, and model electrical installations in Revit for coordination and installation purposes.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of Revit, NavisWorks, and AutoCAD, with at least 1 year of Revit experience and BIM/VDC experience coordinating with MEP contractors. We offer relocation and a range of benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Revit preferred.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navis Works, and AutoCAD.
• BIM / VDC experience coordinating with MEP Contractors.
• Background and knowledge of electrical construction.

Responsibilities

• Review 3D models from consultants and contractors.
• Model Electrical installation work in Revit for coordination and installation purposes.
• Prepare and revise drawings in Revit with minimal supervision and make sure all drawings follow company supervision.
• Revit modeling of all electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, cable tray, etc.
