Job summary

Quiddity is seeking a BIM Technician to join our growing engineering team in Houston. You will use Revit to develop accurate, coordinated models and BIM-based construction documents across a variety of projects.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to turn concepts into polished deliverables, own model updates, and help advance BIM standards and workflows. This role rewards detail-oriented, collaborative professionals who take ownership and stay current with Revit and BIM

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Revit/BIM experience with an associate degree or related education.
• Strong Revit skills and ability to produce organized BIM models.
• Experience producing construction documents in engineering, architectural, or design environments.
• Ability to read plans, sketches, specifications, and redlines and convert to BIM deliverables.
• Attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate, take ownership, and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine 3D Revit models and BIM-based construction documents.
• Turn concepts, sketches, and redlines into accurate, coordinated models and drawings.
• Build high-quality plans, sections, details, sheets, and other deliverables.
• Coordinate models across disciplines and resolve design conflicts.
• Own model updates, revisions, and project deliverables to keep work on schedule.
• Help develop and improve Revit standards, templates, families, and BIM workflows.
• Troubleshoot BIM challenges and find more efficient ways to work.
• Perform quality checks to ensure models and deliverables meet high standards.
• Share knowledge by mentoring other BIM team members.
• Stay current with Revit, BIM technology, and new delivery methods.
