Job summary

AWS Data Center Design Engineering team seeks a BIM Systems Engineer to administer Autodesk BIM workflows and implement BIM technologies across Amazon data centers. You will design, deploy, test, and maintain BIM solutions, working with Forma/Autodesk platforms and BIM APIs to support engineering teams.

You will produce clear BIM documentation, train teams on BIM standards, and collaborate across regions to optimize data center design and operation with focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.).
• 2+ years using BIM API and SDKs.
• Min. 3+ years of relevant professional experience in BMS.

Responsibilities

• Administer BIM Common Data Environments, such as Forma, and other technology solutions.
• Design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain BIM solutions.
• Produce comprehensive BIM systems documentation.
• Educate and support primary design technology applications.
• Contribute to BIM API/SDK-based solutions using Revit and Autodesk Platform Services.
• Coordinate information management and metadata with asset databases.
• Perform BIM data QA/QC and analysis.
• Provide BIM technical support to project teams.
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, processes, and workflows across regions.
• Educate internal and external teams in BIM software and best practices.
