Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a BIM Intern to assist the Substation – Renewables team with developing and maintaining 3D BIM models for utility-scale wind, solar, and BESS projects. The role offers exposure to Revit and digital delivery workflows in a collaborative consulting environment.

You will gain hands-on experience in BIM modeling for power infrastructure and be mentored by experienced engineers and BIM professionals during Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant engineering or BIM-related degree.
• Familiarity with Revit or similar 3D modeling software is a plus.
• Interest in civil/electrical design for infrastructure projects.
• Must be available to work full-time Summer 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for substations supporting wind, solar, and BESS projects.
• Create and standardize BIM templates, libraries, and docs for substation design.
• Support digital delivery workflows and power infrastructure coordination.
• Participate in model coordination, clash detection, and data validation.
