Salary Range: $32.00-$64.00 hourly

Job summary

GHD in the US East region seeks a Structural Designer to develop coordinated 2D and 3D models for infrastructure and industrial projects, with emphasis on water and energy facilities. You’ll produce contract drawings for reinforced concrete and steel, integrating with civil/mechanical/electrical teams.

Hybrid work means in-office collaboration three days weekly at locations including Bowie, MD, with opportunities to lead modeling for tanks, foundations, slabs, frames, and supports using AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of structural design and drafting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; strong working knowledge of Revit.
• Experience producing 3D BIM models and detailed construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats.
• Solutions Analysis: Analyze specific problems to find the best solutions (technical or professional).
• Personal Capability Building: Develop capabilities through assessment, training, and coaching; pursue relevant accreditation.
