Job summary

Hexagon | Multivista is seeking a BIM Specialist to provide consulting services to key customers in the AEC industry in the New York/New Jersey area. The role includes BIM standards and guidelines development, BIM libraries and content creation, BIM deliverables auditing, software training and technical support through the project lifecycle.

The position blends technical BIM expertise with a consultancy mindset, requiring years of industry experience to tailor solutions that meet client needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience coordinating BIM projects.
• Experience delivering BIM software and/or process training.
• Experience following BIM methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, ReCAP, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D, Infraworks, Synchro, Dynamo is a plus.
• Drafting, content creation, modeling and coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Scope and plan BIM implementation on upcoming projects.
• Collaborate across departments to meet BIM needs.
• Define, develop and deliver BIM training.
• Provide implementation services, best practices and advisory support.
• Act as a trusted BIM advisor to understand stakeholder needs.
• Ensure projects are organized and executed to company standards.
• Develop implementation workflows and guidelines for internal/external use.
• Create and manage deliverable workstreams with clear ownership.
• Lead workshops and attend project meetings as needed.
• Perform BIM audits to ensure consistency with BIM requirements and standards.
