Job summary

Pfluger Architects is seeking a BIM Manager to advance its design technology capabilities by building and maintaining BIM systems, standards, workflows, and training programs. This hands-on role defines firmwide standards and supports project teams in applying them.

The role requires deep architectural process understanding, strong communication, and the ability to balance strategy with execution while commuting to the Texas offices. Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM platforms is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in an architecture firm, with BIM tools supporting project delivery.
• Experience developing and managing BIM standards, templates, and content libraries.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk collaboration platforms is required.
• Proven ability to build, implement, or scale BIM systems, standards, or workflows.
• Proven ability to train and support team members with varying levels of technical proficiency.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage across teams and levels of experience.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design Technology Leadership & Standards: establish and own firmwide BIM standards, templates, and workflows; ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• Training, Onboarding, & Support: develop and deliver onboarding and training for BIM tools and workflows; close firmwide knowledge gaps.
• Platform Management: administer BIM platforms, manage access, and maintain content libraries; coordinate with software vendors.
• Continuous Improvement & Innovation: stay informed on BIM trends and propose improvements; collaborate with leadership to evolve capabilities.
