Summary/Objective

DeSimone Consulting Engineering is seeking a BIM Specialist. This position will support the development of LOD300 BIM models for construction documentation and technical services on mid to high-rise building projects. The candidate will create LOD300 BIM models using Autodesk Revit, interpret architectural, MEP, and structural drawings, and collaborate across trades. Responsibilities include quality control, training, and working with existing building drawings to create sequential construction models.

Required Skills And Experience

• High School diploma
• Minimum three (3) years of BIM experience
• Extensive knowledge of the Revit platform
• Basic skills in creating and editing Revit families
• Experience building and maintaining 6-10 models across various trades
• At least 3 years in 3D and 4D modeling in Revit
• At least 3 years using Dynamo visual programming software
• Good communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently

Additional Information

This is a salaried, exempt position with a salary range of $75,000 - $85,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. The range is indicative, and candidates with exceptional experience may be considered for higher compensation. DeSimone values transparency in pay and considers candidates with at least 3 years of BIM experience and a high school diploma or higher.
