Job summary

Engtal, an established engineering consulting firm in Madison, seeks a BIM Specialist to advance AutoCAD and Revit/BIM development for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems on diverse building projects.

You will work with engineers and project teams to develop construction documents, support BIM standards, and coordinate models across disciplines, with opportunities to grow into more advanced design responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BIM/drafting experience.
• Experience with Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret building floor plans, schematics, details, and schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify Revit and AutoCAD drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems.
• Produce construction documents based on engineering markups and design direction.
• Create and maintain BIM models, drawings, sheets, details, and schedules.
• Coordinate BIM models across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Assist with BIM integration and standards across multiple projects.
• Review architectural and engineering floor plans, schematics, details, and schedules.
• Provide technical support related to Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and other project team members.
