Job summary

DRAW Collective is seeking a BIM Specialist to join our design team in the Pittsburgh region. You will develop BIM content, refine templates, and mentor staff on BIM best practices, including REVIT, Bluebeam, and related tools.

The ideal candidate will have 6-8+ years of BIM experience in architecture, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to travel between Mt. Lebanon and Cranberry offices. A technical degree is required, with proficiency across MS Office and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with typically 6-8+ years of relevant architecture experience.
• Proficiency in REVIT/Bluebeam content creation.
• Excellent communication skills to educate and influence staff across Mt. Lebanon and Cranberry.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Hands-on software experience: REVIT, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Matterport, Twinmotion, Sketchup; proficient in MS Office and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining BIM content and standards.
• Creating and refining Revit templates.
• Training staff on BIM content.
• Researching and implementing technical solutions for software we use (Revit, Autodesk Forma, Bluebeam, Matterport, Twinmotion, Sketchup).
• Setting up and managing Autodesk Forma, developing Revit AddIns, integrating with SharePoint, updating and maintaining the Content Catalog.

The ideal candidate will possess 6-8 years of experience in BIM content and standards in a collaborative environment, plus experience in technical support to inspire our team to grow and develop.

Working with us in this role, you will be assisting leadership with:

• Developing and maintaining BIM content and standards
• Creating and refining Revit templates
• Training staff on BIM content
• Researching and implementing technical solutions for software and technology we use including: Revit, Autodesk Forma, Bluebeam, Matterport, Twinmotion, Sketchup.
• Setting up and managing the Autodesk Forma, developing Revit AddIns, integrating with SharePoint, updating and maintaining the Content Catalog.

An ideal candidate has:

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with typically 6-8+ years of relevant experience supporting professionals in architecture

Proficiency in REVIT/Bluebeam content creation

Communication skills: well-developed communication skills to build relationships, influence, and serve as the subject matter expert to our staff in Mt. Lebanon and Cranberry.

Organizational skills: time management, follow-through.

Hands-on software experience to include: REVIT, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Matterport, Twinmotion, Sketchup and proficiency with MS Office, including Sharepoint.

Mentoring & Training: being invested in supporting the professional development of staff; demonstrating a growth mindset in a positive and supportive environment

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Ability to travel between our 2 offices (valid driver's license, reliable transportation)

Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds, ability to pack/unpack and set up materials and equipment

Ability to work in an office (Monday-Thursday) and an option for virtual work (Friday), sitting for long periods of time doing computer work
