TP Mechanical is seeking a qualified Project Coordinator in Columbus, OH to manage BIM coordination and fabrication processes, ensuring on-time delivery and correct assembly.

The role requires 5+ years in project coordination, knowledge of design-build/design-assist, and proficiency with Revit. Strong communication, organization, and leadership are essential for success on complex mechanical projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in construction or mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of design-build and design-assist processes.
• Experience with Revit is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Construction & Kickoff: understand project docs, set up kickoff meetings, obtain MEP models.
• Coordination & Design Integration: lead coordination meetings, manage scopes, develop schedules.
• Fabrication Planning & Oversight: create fab plans, manage WO spooling, track progress.
• Construction Support: liaison between fabrication and construction, manage field drawings.
• General Duties: weekly progress notes, prompt communication, proactive problem solving.
