Job summary

Hooper seeks a process piping designer to develop 2D/3D drawings and BIM models for project coordination across multiple teams. This role focuses on delivering accurate, constructible piping layouts and related documentation for efficient project execution.

Responsibilities include preparing field-ready ductwork drawings, coordinating layouts with other trades, and producing shop drawings for prefabrication. The position emphasizes teamwork in a busy office-to-field environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with 2D and 3D drawings in mechanical trades.
• Familiarity with BIM modeling software.
• Ability to coordinate layouts with other trades.

Responsibilities

• Prepares ductwork and piping drawings for field coordination as per industry standards and project specs.
• Coordinates ductwork and piping layouts with other trades to ensure proper fit.
• Work with foremen and shop personnel to produce shop drawings for prefabrication.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
