Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems seeks a BIM Technician to deliver BIM services for HVAC, process, and plumbing systems. You will team with Engineers, Designers, BIM Coordinators, and Trade Detailers to create 2D/3D drawings per project requirements and deadlines.

The role requires an Associate Degree or Technical Certificate in Engineering or Drafting, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam preferred. Candidates should have a background in the construction industry and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in engineering or drafting preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam is preferred.
• Experience in BIM and 2D/3D drawing development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and model 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software.
• Manage time to meet project schedules and task deadlines.
• Manage files on share sites, network servers, and software platforms.
• Process backgrounds provided by trade partners and coordinate changes using Bluebeam.
• Check work for quality and ACCO BIM standards compliance.
• Prepare project-deliverable packages for transmittal or submission.
• Communicate design and constructability issues with project team.
• Foster collaboration with colleagues and project team members.
• Apply training and project experience to continuously improve technical abilities.
