Job summary

Clark Pacific in West Sacramento, CA seeks a BIM Modeler to design, detail, fabricate, and install precast concrete systems. You will develop and maintain accurate 3D models and drawings, coordinating with Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Field Operations.

Requirements include degree preferred and minimum 1 year using Tekla or Revit, strong reading of drawings, proficiency with MS Office, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using Tekla, Revit, or another 3D BIM platform in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain 3D structural models using Tekla Structures and Revit.
• Develop detailed construction and fabrication drawings from BIM models.
• Coordinate models with Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Field Operations.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure model accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Assist in project setup, BIM coordination, clash detection, and model maintenance.
• Support engineering teams by developing discipline-specific BIM content.
• Read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Communicate model updates and design changes across project teams.
• Maintain project documentation and BIM standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

At Clark Pacific, the BIM Modeler plays a critical role in the successful design, detailing, fabrication, and installation of precast concrete building systems. Working as part of an integrated engineering team, this position develops and maintains accurate 3D models and construction drawings while collaborating with Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Field Operations to deliver complex commercial, industrial, mission-critical, and advanced manufacturing projects.

Competitive Compensation:
$75,000–$95,000 annually, depending on experience.
