Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a team member to support construction projects through BIM modeling, shop drawings, and MEP coordination. You will create 3D models and equipment layouts, and assist in documentation management to improve project efficiency.

Responsibilities include handling drawings and RFIs, coordinating with design/build teams, and participating in meetings to minimize design-related construction errors. On-site work in Texas is expected.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction documents.
• Knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, Sheet Metal trades.

Responsibilities

• Support on construction projects including receiving, logging, expediting and distribution of shop drawings, RFIs, and other documentation.
• Create shop drawings for mechanical systems and equipment layouts.
• Coordinate projects and collaborate with design/build teams to reduce errors.
