Job summary

Wood is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager to join our Houston team and lead the project BIM and digital engineering environment for a nuclear facility. The role drives safe, controlled, and integrated design, construction, commissioning, and handover through strong governance of BIM processes and data management.

Qualifications

• Significant experience implementing BIM on large, complex projects.
• Experience developing and administering BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Strong understanding of engineering design processes and information management.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary 3D models and model interfaces across organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) including objectives, workflows, and quality expectations.
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, templates, naming conventions, model structures, and collaboration requirements.
• Define BIM roles, interfaces, and deliverables across disciplines and contractors.
• Ensure BIM activities align with project and Owner/Operator requirements and QA processes.
• Provide governance of the Common Data Environment (CDE) and coordinate with IT and Document Control.
• Establish and govern model federation, reviews, constructability, and issue resolution.
• Monitor model status, revision control, access, and traceability.
• Coordinate BIM information with engineering, scheduling, cost, and other systems.
• Ensure models used for construction and turnover are properly reviewed and authorized.
