Job summary

Workshop/APD seeks a dedicated BIM Manager with 6+ years of Revit-led project experience to optimize workflows, develop standards, and lead model quality across all project phases.

The ideal candidate will manage templates, content, and a firmwide library, while coordinating with project teams to ensure QA/QC and client requirements are met. A hybrid schedule and strong mentorship culture define life at Workshop/APD.

Qualifications

• BIM leadership with strong Revit and AEC coordination experience.
• Experience delivering BIM Execution Plans and template development.
• Familiar with Dynamo, Revit API and related tools.
• Experience with luxury residential, hospitality, or high-end developments preferred.
• Strong QA/QC and model coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage model health to facilitate the development of architectural drawings in coordination with project teams.
• Manage template content development, including advanced parametrics and automation.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans and ensure deliverables meet requirements.
• Oversee the firm's ACC data environment.
• Facilitates internal training, BIM audits, and model reviews.
• Establish BIM documentation processes, workflows, and best practices.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure BIM models meet QA/QC standards and client requirements.

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated, forward thinking BIM Manager with at least 6 years of experience in Revit-led architectural projects. As the firms BIM subject‑matter expert, you will optimize BIM workflows, develop robust standards, lead training, and drive model quality and coordination across all project phases. The ideal candidate is proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and related digital tools to create, manage and protect our digital infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Manage model health to facilitate the development of architectural working drawings in coordination with project teams.
• Manage template family and content development, including advanced parametrics and automation.
• Develop and maintain project BIM Execution Plans and ensure that deliverables are aligned as required.
• Oversee the Workshop/APD's ACC data environment.
• Facilitates internal training, BIM audits, and model reviews.
• Establish BIM documentation processes, procedures, workflows, and best practices.
• Coordinates with project teams to ensure BIM models meet QA/QC standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Design required
• 6 to 10 years’ experience as a BIM operator preferably with luxury residential, hospitality and high‑end development projects
• Certified Autodesk Revit professional, familiarity with Dynamo and Revit API, Rhino is preferred
• Proven experience creating template files, custom families, LOD based assets and managing a firmwide library.
• Strong competency in Navisworks, BIM 360, BIM Collaborate Pro, Dynamo and familiarity with SketchUp, EnScape, D5, V‑ray.
• Expert level construction materials, building assemblies, case work and building products required
• Experience with managing workflows and collaborating in a team environment with attention to details
• Excellent leadership, communication, and ability to mentor teams.
