Job summary

The BIM intern at Anning-Johnson Company will report to a BIM project modeler/coordinator and assist in generating and managing BIM projects to support decision-making on constructability and project management.

Assigned to large-scale commercial projects nationwide, the intern will three-dimensionally model and detail work related to drywall, metal framing, metal deck, and other specialty construction scopes, with training provided on equipment and software as needed.

Tasks

The BIM Intern will be assigned large scale, commercial projects based in offices across the nation, and will be expected to three-dimensionally model and detail projects related to drywall, metal framing, metal deck, and other specialty construction work scope. In addition to project modelling, the BIM Intern will be trained on equipment and software as needed.

Accountability

You will help model, coordinate, and pre-plan activities associated with projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budgeting parameters. You will maintain open communication lines with all working relationships, follow up to ensure items for which the job is accountable are being received and understood, and earn and maintain customer’s trust.
