Job summary

ARKANCE US is seeking a BIM Engineer II to focus on production and coordination across multiple trades, creating BIMs for architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems. You will lead coordination meetings, support inter-disciplinary work, and drive high-quality deliverables in a dynamic team setting.

The role requires advanced BIM software skills, strong communication, and a proactive, self-motivated attitude. Expect collaboration with Autodesk tools and a focus on efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in BIM software including Revit, Navisworks and BIM360 Docs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook).
• Experience with Bluebeam for markup and collaboration.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, DWV, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing, Process Pipe and Electrical BIMs.
• Lead BIM Coordination meetings and apply construction principles.
• Support trades with interstitial space coordination.
• Collaborate across disciplines and provide leadership to delivery teams.
• Aid in creating Revit families as needed.
• Assist with estimating and scoping for new projects.
• Log time weekly through timesheets.
• Typical time allocation: 85-95% billable, 5-15% overhead.

Position Overview

The BIM Engineer II has a primary focus on performing all levels of production and coordination activities. BIM Engineers are the primary production delivery resource for ARKANCE US BIM services involving modeling and coordination of various trades and content creation.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM360 Docs and Design capabilities.
• Effectively utilize Microsoft Office software for completion of various tasks (i.e., Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook)

Essential Functions

• Creating Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, DWV, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing, Process Pipe and/or Electrical BIMs
• Lead BIM Coordination meetings and exhibit a strong understanding of construction principles.
• Support room for our trades in the interstitial space
• Collaborating with other disciplines and provide subject matter leadership to the delivery team(s) when needed
• Aiding in the creation of Revit families, as needed
• Assist with the estimation and scoping of new project opportunities.
• Complete weekly accounting of time through entry of digital timesheets.
• Typical Time allocation Targets for BIM Engineers are as follows:
  • 85%-95% Billable hours
  • 5%-15% Overhead hours
• *Individual targets may vary based on assignments and initiatives tasked to the team member.
