Tommy's Express is seeking a skilled BIM Engineer-Architectural to develop 3D building models and shop drawings using Autodesk Revit, supporting AE prototype car wash designs across the project development team.

You will refine building systems through model releases, coordinate with architects/engineers, and prepare material takeoffs for procurement and fabrication; a strong collaboration mindset is essential.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years’ experience using Autodesk Revit or similar design software on architectural projects
• Experience with commercial building design
• Understanding of VDC & prefab concepts is a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office 365; familiarity with project management systems (NetSuite, Jira) is a plus

BIM Engineer-Architectural

Tommy's is looking for a skilled BIM Engineer-Architectural to join our team. In this role, you'll bring our AE prototype car wash designs to life by developing shop drawings, assembly models, and material schedules while partnering with our Project Development Team to refine building systems through every model release. Position Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D building models using Autodesk Revit or similar software.
• Develop shop drawings for internal/external clarification on various building material packages.
• Provide technical support on building designs to internal/external teams.
• Prepare building material takeoffs and schedules for internal procurement and fabrication direction as needed.
• Coordinate with Tommy’s prototype architect and engineering consultants as needed.
• Work within a team environment of management, sales, and manufacturing
• Provide fair, friendly, and consistent customer service

Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes:

• Technical degree or equivalent formal training/certifications and experience
• 3+ years’ experience using Autodesk Revit or similar design software on architectural related projects.
• Experience with commercial building design.
• Experience with VDC & “prefab for construction” concepts a plus.
• Experience with Autodesk AI design connectors/workflows a plus.
• Understanding of commercial MEP designs and products a plus.
• Technical savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office 365; experience within database and project management systems a plus: i.e.: NetSuite, Jira or similar.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Process-oriented and strong collaborator with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and across various departments
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and operates primarily indoors with limited to no travel expectation.

To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to:

• Work and commute in all weather conditions
• Able to effectively communicate, listen, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information
• Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers
