The Mechanical BIM Detailer II independently develops, coordinates, and modifies 2D and 3D models and construction documents for assigned portions of mechanical projects. This role supports piping, HVAC, and plumbing systems from design development through fabrication and installation, producing accurate and constructible deliverables with periodic review.

Create and maintain schedules, view templates, filters, and sheets with limited supervision. Develop accurate, fabrication-ready models for piping, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Model mechanical equipment, supports, and associated systems with correct parameters and connectivity. Evaluate constructability and resolve routine modeling issues before escalation. Develop spools, shop drawings, and prefabrication deliverables for assigned systems or areas. Incorporate design changes, coordination decisions, and field feedback into project models. Perform self-checks and peer reviews for model accuracy, drawing completeness, and standards compliance. Implement review comments and verify that corrections are reflected in final deliverables. Support field teams with layout, coordination, and installation-alignment questions. Maintain model accuracy needed for fabrication, prefabrication, and field installation workflows. Generate point-layout data and installation deliverables as assigned. Communicate model changes and coordination impacts to the project team in a timely manner.
