Job summary

A3 Staffing seeks a BIM Designer to support a major construction project by building, coordinating, and delivering precise 3D models. The role emphasizes Revit and Navisworks proficiency and close collaboration with MEP, structural, and architectural teams to maintain model integrity.

You will work within BIM workflows, support field operations, and participate in coordination meetings, ensuring model accuracy and timely delivery across platforms like Procore and BIM 360.

Qualifications

• Proficient in building information models using Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams to maintain model alignment with project goals.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and field coordination processes.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and refine 3D BIM models in Revit that follow project requirements, standards, and best practices.
• Run clash detection and assemble federated models in Navisworks to identify and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts.
• Collaborate with MEP, structural, and architectural teams to keep models fully coordinated and up to date.
• Work within project platforms and tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365) to support coordination and documentation.
• Maintain organized file structures, consistent naming conventions, and curated BIM content libraries.
• Generate drawings, views, and model outputs ready for field use and construction activities.
• Manage model sharing and version control via cloud-based environments like BIM 360/ACC.
• Support issue tracking, 3D model coordination, and data exchange using Navisworks and other platforms.
• Participate in coordination meetings, present model updates, and communicate changes to internal teams and external partners.
• Perform quality reviews to confirm models meet accuracy and compliance expectations.
• Partner with QA/QC and site leadership to surface and resolve coordination challenges.
• Lead ad hoc sessions with subcontractors and participate in site meetings to stay current with field conditions.
