Job summary

C&S Engineers in Tampa, FL is seeking an Engineering Designer to support development, coordination, and delivery of accurate, constructible building system designs. You will design in Revit, coordinate multidisciplinary models, perform clash detection, and provide drafting support to MEP/structural engineers.

The role requires detail-oriented, technically proficient, and collaborative individuals committed to high-quality work meeting project requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of professional Revit experience.
• Forma, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360 proficiency required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with overhead systems and basic construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete system designs and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Provide BIM modeling, drafting, and documentation support to MEP and structural teams.
• Create, coordinate, and manage Revit models for assigned projects.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate resolution of model conflicts with project team members.
• Create, modify, and update Revit families to support project-specific requirements and maintain model consistency.
• Independently execute assigned design and drafting tasks while accurately identifying product specifications.
• Review drawings, models, and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and coordination before release.
• Identify and correct errors, omissions, and conflicts prior to issuing work as complete.
• Prepare and provide timely, accurate progress reports to the SESW Facilities Manager and project team members.
• Create, maintain, and follow standard work procedures and checklists to promote consistent, high-quality project delivery.
• Collaborate with internal and external engineers, architects, designers, project managers, and construction professionals.
