Job summary

Securitas Technology, part of Securitas, is a world-leading provider of integrated security solutions with a focus on 3D BIM design and integration of security systems. The Engineer will collaborate with BIM Manager and design engineers to deliver accurate submittals and 3D models for customer approvals.

Office locations include Elmsford, NY or Fair Lawn, NJ, with travel less than 10%. Strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks and a BS in EE are required.

Qualifications

• BS in EE Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and MS Office.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and security systems.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of architectural designs using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Update and modify models as plans change.
• Generate 2D drawings and construction details from 3D models.
• Conduct clash detection and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Maintain BIM libraries and ensure compliance with BIM standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and external experts.
• Travel as needed (less than 10%).
