Job summary

Neilsoft Limited is seeking a skilled engineer in Michigan to create and maintain shop and assembly drawings for steel structures using Tekla and SDS2 software. Job description

• Setting and maintaining client preferences and drawing standards
• Should be able to generate shop and assembly drawings using Tekla (3D)/SDS2 software for the fabrication of various steel structure
• Experience in Structural and Miscellaneous Steel modelling and checking against contract drawings
• Should have exposure to client interaction and coordination
• Should have knowledge about handling RFI’s internal and client/contractor

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma or Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of working experience in construction, design, drafting, or coordination, as per local codes and standards.
• Minimum a Diploma/Bachelor’s in Engineering (Civil) with at least 3 years of working experience in construction, design, drafting, or coordination
• Sound knowledge of AISC, NISD, IBC, CISC and OSHA standards of structural steel detailing
• Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility, and able to handle teams.
• Good communication with fluency in English and documentation skills.
