Job summary

GMA Architects seeks a BIM Coordinator (architectural or structural focus) to work onsite in St. Louis, MO or Framingham, MA. You’ll help expand BIM standards, enforce best practices, and enable efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities include reviewing BIM Execution Plans, maintaining libraries, Revit customization, template upkeep, training users, and coordinating with external collaborators. GMA offers strong benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in BIM or related field or Bachelor’s in architecture/structural engineering.
• 2–5 years’ experience with building structures in architectural or structural teams.
• Proficient in BIM modeling and drawing production (Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud/Autodesk Forma).
• Strong BIM principles, processes, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Expand BIM standards and enforce implementation.
• Review, contribute to, and implement BIM Execution Plans.
• Create, maintain, and assist with BIM libraries and staff training.
• Customize Revit and maintain templates for efficiency.
• Provide training to new and existing users and promote continual learning.
• Support project startup and coordinate with external collaborators.
• Maintain BIM project files and recovery procedures.
