Job summary

Gaston Electrical, a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, is seeking a BIM Coordinator to develop electrical 3D drawings from contract documents. The role requires coordinating with trades to maintain clash-free models and delivering accurate As-Builts.

You will work with AutoCAD and Revit to create 3D coordination drawings, attend coordination meetings, and help prefabrication efforts with project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous MEP Coordination Experience.
• Working knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD and ability to create/coordinate 3D models.
• Motivated to advance in your field of work.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and develop smart solutions.

Responsibilities

• As-builts: obtain field redlines, BIM files, create As-Builts in AutoCAD & Revit, hand to PM.
• BIM Coordination: attend coordination meetings, create priority task list per GC schedule, ensure deadlines.
• Coordinate 3D drawings in AutoCAD and Revit with foreman and PM. Review shop drawings and clash reports.
• Collaborate with Prefab and Electrical Design to prefabricate spools for conduits, panels, etc.
• Support team by meeting deliverable dates and improving Autodesk技能.
