Job summary

GeoSearch in Wichita Falls, TX seeks a BIM Coordinator to join on-site and support electrical project teams by managing models, coordinating clash detection, and facilitating clear communication among electrical, engineering, and construction stakeholders.

You will set up and maintain electrical BIM models, integrate multi-trade data, review design changes, develop BIM standards and workflows, prepare coordination meeting content, document issues and resolutions, and work with project managers

Qualifications

• BIM expertise focused on electrical systems, with coordination and integration.
• Coordinate electrical systems: conduit, cable tray, power distribution, equipment.
• Familiar with mechanical/plumbing/structural trades for multitrade coordination.
• Project management: stakeholder coordination, issue tracking, schedule awareness.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360; reality capture/point clouds a plus.
• Experience on data center or large-scale electrical projects preferred.
• On-site collaboration with multiple teams; translate models into construction data.
• Strong analysis, problem-solving, communication, accuracy and accountability.
• Education in electrical, engineering, or construction.

GeoSearch is actively seeking a BIM Coordinator in Wichita Falls, TX. This is a full-time, on-site position. The BIM Coordinator will support electrical project teams by managing building information models, coordinating clash detection efforts, and facilitating clear communication between electrical, engineering, and construction stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and maintaining electrical BIM models, integrating models across trades for coordination purposes, reviewing design changes, and supporting the development and execution of BIM standards and workflows. The role also involves preparing coordination meeting content, documenting issues and resolutions, and working closely with project managers to ensure model data supports procurement, prefabrication, and field installation. The BIM Coordinator will uphold data integrity, auditable documentation, and clear accountability across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong BIM expertise with a focus on electrical systems, including model coordination, management, and integration in a multitrade environment
• Experience coordinating electrical systems — conduit, cable tray, power distribution, and equipment — in a BIM environment, including clash detection and constructability review
• Familiarity with other trade disciplines (mechanical, plumbing, structural) sufficient to participate in and support multitrade coordination efforts
• Project management capabilities, including stakeholder coordination, issue tracking, schedule awareness, and thorough documentation of decisions and changes
• Proficiency with common BIM and coordination platforms, including Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, or similar tools; experience with reality capture or point clouds is a plus
• Experience on data center or other large-scale, high-density electrical projects preferred
• Ability to work on-site, collaborating with multiple project teams and translating model data into actionable information for construction, procurement, and prefabrication
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a commitment to accuracy, accountability, and continuous process improvement
• Relevant technical or professional education in electrical, engineering, or construction
