Job summary

The ideal candidate has hands-on Revit experience (model linking, visibility), knowledge of ACC/BIM 360 workflows, strong organizational and communication skills, and eligibility to work in the United States.

BIM Coordinator — New York City

A well-established MEP consulting engineering firm is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join its New York City team and support high-profile design projects across a variety of sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Revit and AutoCAD support to engineering and design teams across multiple disciplines
• Set up projects in Revit and AutoCAD
• Perform ongoing maintenance and organization of Revit models and AutoCAD drawings
• Assist in developing and maintaining BIM standards, workflows, and production procedures
• Support project teams with BIM guidance, training, and best practices
• Manage and maintain BIM models while ensuring consistency with project requirements and industry standards
• Run clash detection and assist in identifying and resolving coordination issues
• Stay current with BIM technology trends and recommend tools or processes that improve project efficiency
• Evaluate and implement software solutions that align with project and business needs
• Promote collaboration and communication across project teams and disciplines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Revit, including model linking and visibility management
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and xref functionality
• Familiarity with project setup and workflows within ACC/BIM 360
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
