Job summary

Pinnacle Infotech seeks a BIM Coordinator - Electrical to support electrical BIM modeling and coordination for US-based projects. You will collaborate with customers and India teams to deliver accurate electrical layouts, schedules, and conduit sizing.

Key duties include leading BIM coordination meetings, ensuring BEP compliance, and QA/QC on deliverables. Travel to sites as needed and strong communication across disciplines are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in the US construction industry.
• Experience in BIM Modeling and Drafting of Electrical Power/Lighting layouts, Cable Tray/Conduit Sizing, Circuiting, and Panel Schedules.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, and related software.
• Experience leading BIM Coordination meetings.
• Knowledge of US Electrical Code.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to Travel.
• Field experience and data center projects preferred.

• Growth: Expand project scope with existing customers.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with other disciplines in BIM coordination meetings.
• Standards: Adhere to BEP, project workflows, content standards, and development procedures.
• Field Support: Create shop drawings and assist field personnel.
• Quality: QA/QC on India-delivered work.
• Management: Attend kick-off, coordination, and weekly meetings.
• Client Relations: Visit customer offices and maintain communication.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of work experience in the US construction industry.
• Technical Skills: Experience in BIM Modeling and Drafting of Electrical Power/Lighting layouts, Cable Tray/Conduit Sizing, Circuiting, and Panel Schedules.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, and other related software.
• Coordination: Experience leading and contributing to BIM Coordination meetings.
• Knowledge: US Electrical Code Knowledge is required.
• Communication: Effective Communication skills are essential.
• Travel: Willingness to Travel.
• Preferences: Field experience and experience working on Data Centers are desired.

Role & Responsibility

• Delivery: Working with customers and India teams to deliver BIM Modeling of Electrical systems.
• Growth: Build revenue with existing customers by expanding project scope and introducing additional service offerings.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with other disciplines and trades in BIM coordination meetings.
• Standards: Adhere to BEP (BIM Execution Plan), project workflows, content standards, and development procedures.
• Field Support: Help creation of shop drawings and work with superintendents/field personnel to understand installation means and methods.
• Quality: Conduct QA/QC on work products delivered by India-based teams.
• Management: Attend kick-off, coordination, and weekly review meetings.
• Client Relations: Visit customer offices as required and maintain high-level verbal and written communication.
