Job summary

Romanoff Group of Companies seeks a BIM Coordinator to support digital design coordination and manage BIM models for decision-making during building projects. The role supports the operations team in generating and managing digital models, building information models, and virtual files.

The candidate will develop detailed layouts for electrical systems, create Revit families, and participate in planning meetings to resolve design issues. A strong BIM background and CAD proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in BIM modeling.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in commercial electrical BIM coordination.
• Preferred: Degree or certification in Computer Aided Drafting and Design.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed layout drawings of electrical feeder conduits, equipment, and light fixtures using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD software and Revizto.
• Understand electrical product data sheets for the distribution of equipment and lighting.
• Create Revit families in response to company and project needs.
• Attend project planning meetings to review and resolve design and installation issues.
• Resolve BIM design issues with contractors and engineers.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Standard Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.
