Job summary

IES in Cincinnati is seeking a BIM Coordinator to manage BIM processes across design, construction and project delivery, ensuring model accuracy and integration while supporting collaboration among teams and stakeholders.

You will coordinate architectural, structural and MEP models, perform clash detection with Revit and Navisworks, and maintain BIM standards, documentation, and training for project personnel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BIM coordination or related experience in architecture, engineering, or construction preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based BIM platforms.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage BIM models for construction and design projects.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models to identify and resolve conflicts and clashes.
• Conduct model reviews and perform clash detection using Revit, Navisworks, and other applicable BIM software.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely model development and updates.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of BIM standards, workflows, and quality control procedures.
• Generate construction drawings, schedules, reports, quantities, and other project information from BIM models.
• Support project planning, visualization, coordination, and construction sequencing activities.
• Maintain BIM documentation and ensure models comply with company, project, and client requirements.
• Provide BIM-related technical support and training to project team members as needed.
• Participate in project and coordination meetings and communicate BIM-related updates, conflicts, and resolutions to appropriate stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, consultants, clients, and other project stakeholders as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
