Kokosing Industrial, Inc. in the United States seeks a BIM / CAD Specialist to join our Westerville office. This role creates, manages, and coordinates BIM models and drawings for process piping and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with BIM platforms (Revit, Navisworks) in construction/industrial environments.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D and/or Civil 3D.
• Understanding of pipe systems, mechanical layouts, and industrial construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong experience with 3D modeling workflows in a construction or industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complete BIM models based on sketches, specs, and documents.
• Prepare detailed installation drawings and bill of materials from BIM models.
• Review, manage, and manipulate electronic design files and as-built updates.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical disciplines to integrate project features.
• Interface with project team members to understand and implement requirements.
• Support ongoing coordination and constructability reviews through modeling practices.

This role is responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating accurate BIM models and detailed drawings using established mechanical and engineering drafting methods. The initial focus will be on process piping, with opportunities to expand into additional industrial projects.
