Job summary

CEI is seeking a BIM/CAD Coordinator in Anaheim, CA to support BIM workflows, project setup, and data governance across capital and sustainment projects. You will help maintain templates, libraries, and project configurations across server and cloud environments, while coordinating with engineering, facilities, GIS, and IT teams.

The role requires 3+ years in BIM/CAD coordination, strong Revit skills, and experience with BIM collaboration tools, plus a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 3+ years BIM/CAD coordination or management experience in the AEC industry.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and BIM collaboration tools (e.g., BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud).
• Familiarity with digital project delivery workflows and collaboration/document control processes.
• Experience supporting SOP development, onboarding, and training workflows.
• Ability to perform model/drawing quality checks and support standards compliance efforts.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts across multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Support BIM/CAD project setup workflows, including collaboration platform project setup, permissions, and standardized project configuration.
• Help maintain folder structures, templates, libraries, and links across server and cloud environments.
• Participate in design milestone reviews and model audits; document QC/QA feedback and support resolution tracking.
• Assist with onboarding and training for internal team members and external design partners on workflows and document control.
• Provide day-to-day BIM/CAD production support and troubleshooting under senior guidance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners (engineering, facilities, GIS, IT) to align BIM data and facility records with enterprise systems.
• Support project closeout by auditing and archiving models/files per digital records standards.

• Location: Anaheim, CA (5 days on-site)
• Contract: W2 only, 22 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with the client
• Pay: $60.00-65.00/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, sick time

Overview

A Facilities/Engineering organization is seeking a BIM/CAD Specialist/Coordinator to support Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital project technologies across capital and sustainment initiatives. This role supports project teams from initiation through closeout by helping maintain standards, workflows, training, and data governance across collaboration platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Support BIM/CAD project setup workflows, including collaboration platform project setup, permissions, and standardized project configuration

Required Skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing, maintaining, and enforcing BIM/CAD standards, templates, and execution plans
• Experience with EDMS platforms (e.g., ATLAS or similar) and digital archiving/records processes
• Experience with Rhinoceros 3D, Enscape, and/or SketchUp
• Experience supporting XR/visualization review sessions, including preparing models and assisting with XR hardware setup
