Our existing investors SV Health, BPEA, and SOSV also participated in the Series B. Ria Health aims to help patients reduce or eliminate alcohol consumption and lead healthier lives.

Ria Health delivers an accredited program leveraging evidence-based pharmacotherapy, targeted protocols, and a technology platform to improve quality of life. Our outcomes set the standard in alcohol treatment, delivered via telehealth by Remote Clinical and Coaching Team Members.

BILLING SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Data entry of claims into our RCM platform.
  2. Reviewing historical claims for potential issues.
  3. Performing timely insurance benefit verifications to determine eligibility and costs.
  4. Submitting prior authorization requests to insurance carriers.
  5. Obtaining and tracking authorizations as required.
  6. Understanding payer contracts and billing requirements.
  7. Data entry of healthcare claims.
  8. Reviewing contract terms for billing accuracy.
  9. Navigating practice software efficiently.
  10. Assessing patient balances and following up as needed.
  11. Maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
  12. Performing other duties as assigned by the Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  2. Experience with AthenNet required.
  3. At least 2 years in medical billing.
  4. Knowledge of medical terminology and billing processes.
  5. Familiarity with medical policies and payer contracts preferred.
  6. Integrity, persistence, and account management skills.
  7. Ability to identify and escalate issues.
  8. Strong collaboration skills.
  9. Problem-solving and prioritization abilities.
  10. Ability to work independently.
  11. Organized, self-motivated, with attention to detail.
  12. Excellent communication skills.
