Mindful Support Services in Seattle is seeking a Billing Specialist to handle insurance claims, payments, and client support. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and collaboration with internal teams to resolve billing issues.

Entry-level training is provided; prior medical billing experience is not required. Ideal candidates are customer-service oriented and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and effectively with clients, providers, management, and team members via phone and email.
• Excited to grow with a fast-growing and expanding organization.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other basic computer applications.
• Background check required.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and providers regarding insurance questions, partnering with them to obtain accurate insurance information and educating clients about their financial responsibility.
• Verify and communicate insurance benefits information to new clients.
• Complete daily claims submissions, insurance billing activities, and client account research.
• Process and post insurance and client payments.
• Collaborate with team members to meet department goals and support daily billing operations.
