Harris Computer is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Finance support professional in Portland, Maine. You will manage invoicing, credits, debits, and customer accounts while proactively engaging with multiple departments on problem accounts and working with Collections to resolve billing issues.

The role emphasizes timely responses to requests, month-end/quarter-end preparations, and accurate account reconciliation.

Formación

• Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance, or relevant experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Invoicing, credits, debits, etc. (customer account maintenance)
• Proactively communicating to various departments on problem accounts
• Working with the Collections Department to resolve customer billing issues.
• Providing timely responses to customer and employee requests for information
• Preparing information required for the month-end, and quarter-end
• Account reconciliation

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance, or relevant experience

COMPENSATION DETAILS

The potential hourly pay rate is $19 to $21, with eligibility for bonus or merit program. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.
