Job summary

Allegiance Health Management in Shreveport, LA, seeks a Hospice Billing Clerk to join our Revenue Cycle team. You will ensure accurate and timely hospice billing, submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers, and maintain correct patient data across systems.

The role requires 3–5 years of hospice billing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with clinical, admissions, and administrative staff to resolve denials and ensure timely payments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Hospice Billing Clerk, you’ll play an important role in keeping our billing operations accurate, timely, and running smoothly.

You will:

• 3-5 years of hospice billing experience required.
• Medicare and/or Medicaid billing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable working with computers and multiple systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet important billing deadlines.
