Job summary

Central Ohio Urology Group in Ohio is seeking a qualified AR/Medical Billing Specialist to review clinical documentation, code and post charges for insurance billing, and assist with CPT and ICD-10 coding. The role requires a minimum of three years of AR or medical billing experience and knowledge of AR/denial management.

Job description

• To be considered a qualified candidate, must have knowledge of AR, denial management and CPT/ ICD10 coding. A minimum of three (3) years of related AR experience preferably with one year of working with ASC claims.
• Review all clinical documentation to code and post-surgery charges and hospital charges for insurance billing.
• Assist with CPT and ICD 10 coding.
• Maintains all patient information according to the established patient confidentiality policy.
• Maintains compliance with all governmental and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for completing, in a timely manner, all mandated training and in-services, including but not limited to annual OSHA training and PPD placements.
• Responsible for working Accounts Receivable (AR) for ASC
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of three (3) years related AR or medical billing experience is required.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Computer Skills

Travel
