Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners in Columbus, OH seeks a Billing Specialist for ASC with remote work. You will handle AR, denial management and CPT/ICD-10 coding, review clinical documentation, and post charges for insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient information per confidentiality policy and regulatory requirements.
• Complete mandated training including OSHA.
• Process Accounts Receivable for ASC.
• Other duties as assigned.

A minimum of three (3) years of related AR experience preferably with one year of working with ASC claims.**What You'll Be Doing*** Review all clinical documentation to code and post-surgery charges and hospital charges for insurance billing.* Assist with CPT and ICD 10 coding.* Will keep lines of communication open with Team Lead and/or Supervisor.* Maintains all patient information according to the established patient confidentiality policy.* Maintains compliance with all governmental and regulatory requirements.* Responsible for completing, in a timely manner, all mandated training and in-services, including but not limited to annual OSHA training and PPD placements.* Responsible for working Accounts Receivable (AR) for ASC* Performs all other duties as assigned.**What We Expect from You*** High School Graduate or equivalent* Minimum of three (3) years related AR or medical billing experience is required.**Reasoning Ability**Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
