We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate Billing Specialist to join our team. This role requires a thick-skinned individual who can handle challenging situations with professionalism and compassion. We're growing FAST but want to make sure we get the RIGHT person. This role is ideal for someone who has developed great experience in billing/accounts receivable and is ready to use that knowledge to help grow our billing team and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact veterans to congratulate them on successful claims and discuss next steps.
• Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all billing and payment transactions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of efficient billing processes and procedures.
• Develop best practices for successfully collecting payments on time and leaving clients satisfied with the work from our team.

• Comfortable working in a fullyremoteenvironment, with access to reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
• Knowledge ofVA benefitsand the claims process is preferred but not required as the selected applicant will undergo extensive training.
