Job summary

Sentido Health is hiring a Billing Specialist in Tomball, TX to own the billing process from coding to claim submission. This on-site role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and collaboration with care teams to ensure precision in patient billing and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate claims for all DME and supply services via electronic or paper submission.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and billing codes for accuracy.
• Confirm all sales orders for rental and purchase items of DME and supplies verifying all items and quantities, proof of delivery, ordering doctor, and diagnosis for accuracy.
• Ensure all coverage limitations and validation rules are met prior to making sales orders complete and closed.
• Ensure all tracking and proof of delivery is properly uploaded into Brightree for all sales orders confirmed.
• Follow established billing processes and procedures.
• Stay up to date on billing regulations and reimbursement guidelines.
• Manage multiple tasks, prioritizing workload in an efficient manner.
• Support special projects as assigned.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Brightree experience required
• 2 or more years of medical billing experience preferred
• DME billing experience highly preferred
• Texas/Colorado Medicaid experience preferred but not required

This is a full-time, non-exempt, on-site position located at 27905 Commerical Park Rd., Suite #240, Tomball, TX 77375. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional after-hours availability as needed. This role is primarily sedentary, involving regular computer and telephone use, with occasional standing, walking, and light lifting of up to 10 pounds.
