Job summary

Ease Health, Inc. in Buffalo, NY seeks a hands-on Billing Specialist to own the day-to-day revenue cycle for a set of behavioral health customers. You’ll manage claim submissions, track authorizations, post payments, and resolve billing issues to keep timelines tight.

Qualifications

You’ll own the day-to-day revenue cycle for a set of customers, and help us build an RCM system that makes the work faster for everyone who comes after you.

What you’ll do

• Manage claim submission for your customers, on time and complete
• Track authorizations across payers and levels of care
• Handle payment posting, reconciliation, ERA enrollments, and remittance workflows
• Work AR follow-up on denials, underpayments, and aging claims
• Communicate with customers to gather information and resolve billing issues
• Learn our RCM system and tell us what's missing
• Spot recurring billing issues and help build the processes that prevent them

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of behavioral health billing experience preferred
• Deep familiarity with the behavioral health revenue cycle: claims, authorizations, denials, and payer follow-up
• Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Comfort operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organization and attention to detail across multiple customers

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple clearinghouses and payer portals
• Knowledge of EDI, eligibility verification, or benefits verification
• Prior RCM management at a billing company or provider organization
