Job summary

Cerity Partners is seeking a talented Billing & Revenue Specialist to manage client billing with accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment. This fully remote role offers flexible work location while supporting hybrid in-office collaboration options.

Responsibilities include setting up client accounts, executing quarterly billing runs, resolving billing issues, coordinating with Accounts Receivable, and driving process improvements across Billing, Finance, and Operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related business field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred in wealth management, RIA, financial services, investment operations, billing, accounts receivable, portfolio accounting, reconciliation, or related finance/operations.
  • Experience with portfolio accounting systems such as Orion or Addepar.
  • Highly detail-oriented with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter who aligns with Cerity Partners' mission and values.

Job description

Cerity Partners is seeking a talented and motivated individual with the highest level of personal integrity to join our Billing & Revenue Recognition Team. This is a fully remote opportunity, open to candidates in almost any location — work from wherever you do your best work. In this role, you'll prepare, execute, and manage critical client billing functions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your work directly supports the accuracy and integrity of our client relationships. The ideal candidate brings impeccable attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proven analytical and financial experience to a high-visibility function within the firm. (Open to various office locations - Hybrid work setting (3 days a week in office))

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate client setup in the firm's portfolio accounting systems

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred, with experience in wealth management, RIA, financial services, investment operations, billing, accounts receivable, portfolio accounting, reconciliation, or a related finance or operations environment
  • Previous operations or finance experience, including billing, account opening, or reconciliation
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with portfolio accounting systems such as Orion or Addepar
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter who identifies with Cerity Partners' mission and embodies our core values
