A healthcare organization is seeking a Billing Specialist to maintain accurate billing records and process payments. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years' experience in billing or finance and excellent communication skills. This role is remote, with a pay range of $19.42 - $27.74 per hour for regular full-time employees.

This role will be covering Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Responsible for maintenance of accurate billing records of complex customer and/or patient accounts, process payments and adjustments, and communicate with customers to answer questions or provide information.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No. Licenses and Credentials: Experience in billing, finance or collections 2-3 years required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail, Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and other relevant billing software, Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
