Qualifications

• Three years of general clerical, secretarial, and/or office technical experience including at least one year of acute care hospital billing at a full-journey level.

Responsibilities

• The Office Assistant Specialist - Billing performs specialized clerical, office-technical and/or secretarial work of above-average difficulty in various office settings.
• Interprets and applies rules related to complex billing procedures including Medi-Cal and/or Medicare electronic billing.
• Performs accounts payable/receivable and billing tasks, processes payments, and maintains ledgers and reports.
