Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a senior billing leader to drive strategic planning, prioritize tasks, and optimize the billing and collections processes. The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, leadership, and proficiency with ERP systems such as Vista Viewpoint, SAP, and JD Edwards.

The position requires supervising a team and delivering month-end closes, AR reporting, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an Accounting role.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure activities of the billing operations comply with department protocol and regulations.
• Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes.

• Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports and weekly/monthly financial reports.

Job Overview

Essential Functions: Including but not limited to the following:

• Ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a billing department
• Ability to improve process efficiencies and solving problems
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Audits current procedures to monitor and improve efficiency of billing
• Ensures that the activities of the billing operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocol, and follow Federal, State, and payer regulations, guidelines, and requirements
• Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes
• Month-end closing of the billing group information
• Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
• Prepares and analyzes accounts receivable reports and weekly and monthly financial reports.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Currently supervising a team of 7 company billers and expected to grow in 2027

Required Education, Certification, Licenses and Experience

• The ideal candidate will have education and/or experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an Accounting role
• Valid Driver’s License

Additional Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Experience with Vista Viewpoint a plus
• Experience with billing in ERP financial systems, such as SAP, JD Edwards, Viewpoint Vista or similar systems
